Bob Redston - Group General Manager

Bob joined Attic Group in 2009 as the Group General Manager, bringing over 25 years experience in operations, supply chain management, customer service, marketing and product innovation. Prior to joining the Attic team Bob held various management roles with O'Brien Glass, CSR Roofing and Amcor in manufacturing markets

In his role as Group General Manager, Bob has responsibility for all national operations including manufacturing, distribution, sales and customer service with a focus on providing innovative solutions.

Bill has over 30 years experience within the building and construction industry. He heads our operations in NSW and QLD with a very hands on and simple attitude to business - provide customers with not only the best ladders, storage and living space solutions in the market , but also the very best in customer service excellence.

Robert, John's son, linked with Attic Ladders straight from school and under his father’s expert guidance learnt all aspects of the business, from assembling ladders in the factory to providing appraisals, sales and admin.

He now manages both the Victoria and South Australia operations from his base in Melbourne and is responsible for the award winning living spaces division, "Attic Living".

Chris Wilson -Operations Manager

"Our most popular product is the Stairladder Deluxe. It’s made out of superior grade Australian Hoop Pine Timber cut from sustainable forests and manufactured in out Tempe factory. With normal usage our ladders will last 25 years. In fact our clients from the 1970’s are just coming back to us now to replace their ladders!"

Chris has spent all his working life in the building industry, joining Attic Ladders in 1994 to become John Stewart’s right-hand man in the factory/warehouse.

Chris’ many skills enable him to cover all bases in his ‘domain’ – overseeing the production of ladders and the purchase of materials (timber, springs, hinges etc), the importation of ladders and the distribution of products to branch offices and distributors.

For example, we will be exhibiting our Attic Ladder Range at a Home Show and one of our customers will come up and want to demonstrate “their” ladder  to a friend. Rebecca, one of John’s two daughters, followed her father into the family business in 1996 after a career in fashion, sales and marketing. Since then her roles have included Sydney office manager and QLD State Manager. Her current role focuses on national marketing and continual improvement in customer service across the business.
